Volunteers make Potential Kids what can be a life changing experience for children, young people, their siblings and families.

We are always looking for people who can volunteer their time, skills and experience to help us keep doing what we do. Whether that’s running sessions, organising fundraising, forging community partnerships, helping us keep the garden looking wonderful or something else, we’d love to talk to you.

We totally understand that the time you can offer us is precious, that life sometimes gets in the way and that the work we do can sometimes be emotional. Volunteering with PK means you become part of the PK family. Our leadership team is here to support all our volunteers and we work collaboratively as a team to create the best enviroment we can for everyone.

How it works:

Get in touch with us to say you’re interested!

We’ll then call you back to find out how you’re interested in helping and to tell you a bit about the charity and how we operate.

We’ll also explain the process of the checks we have to run and the next steps in the process. This might include a visit to the garden or Potential Kids HQ to show you round, introducing you to some of the other people who volunteer with us and getting you registered on our system.

Once all the checks have been completed we’ll welcome you for your first ‘proper’ session with us and have you experience the best volunteering role in the world*
